Underground Opening ~ June 10
We just couldn’t wait to start the season! Dance to
free live music & bring a dish to share. 6 pm.
Official Opening Day ~ June 18
Officially kick off the 50th Summer Season with
old friends and new members. This year, the
Club provides the hors d’oeuvres.
10 am beach,4pm party.
Independence Day Celebration ~ July 3
Traditional bonfire, cookout and rousing renditions
of God Bless America. Why leave the beach?!
Summer Luau ~ July 16
Bring back memories of the Pork Roasts of yore!
Great food and reggae too!
Chi Chi’s Bocce ~ July 23
High stakes and suspense in full force as GHBC
players compete for bocce bragging rights.
Mango Mia! ~ July 30
How can you resist this? Italian flair meets GHBC.
Field Day ~ August 6
Pirates, goodies and games—oh my! GHBC’s
best kids’ tradition continues
Pirate’s Ball ~ August 6 - note change of date!
Pirates, wenches and dancing—oh my! Who
says kids get to have all the fun?!
Susie’s Bocce ~ August 20
So much fun we have to do it twice! And in
a fit of nostalgia, the Beer Club may return
for one day only, stay tuned!

**50th Celebration ~ August 21**
Join us this August afternoon to celebrate
50 fabulous years of sea, sun and family fun.
Invite a former member to reconnect and share the memories.

Golf Tournament ~ August 27
Time for a Field Trip! Birdies, bogies and the
best of times!
Signature Hors d’oeuvres ~ September 2
GHBC members show off their culinary
skills—no chip ‘n dips!– in one of our favorite
traditional parties.
End of Season Bash ~ September 4
Its Black and White time again! We end our
50th summer season with elegance and fun.

Hi-Lo-Jack Tournament, the return of Youth Group, Monday & Wednesday Night Cards,
Friday Night Hors d’oeuvres, informal dinners, popsicles on the beach, sandcastles, body surfing,
great times with old summer friends and new...

Member-Run Functions
From Dinner-Dances to Kids Movie Nights, our members have organized numerous functions
and events over the years. It's a chance to be creative! Past events included An Evening of Magic,
A Taste of the World, Full Moon Party, October-fest, and Sunday Brunch to name a few.

No season would be complete without our established traditional events:
Open Day & Labor Day Parties
Fourth of July Bonfire & Cookout
Hi Lo Jack Tournament
Field Day - Pirates, Games & Treasure!
Bocce Tournament

Care to throw a party? Our member-run parties are the highlights of our summer season,
contact any board members if you have an idea or would like to coordinate an event!

Every Day Activities
The beach, of course is our major draw: Body surf, sun-bathe, build a sand castle.

And for those who might want to avoid the sand: Enjoy ocean views from decks in sun or shade,
watch the ball game, play cards or just relax with fellow members.

Our staffed hours of operation runs 10 am - 6 pm on weekdays and 9 am - 7 pm on weekends
and holidays. Lifeguards are on duty 10 am - 6 pm weekdays and 9 am - 6 pm on weekends.
